Materials needed:
Crochet thread in white and blue
size 5 hook
small amounts of dimensional paint in black (orange for a carrot nose is optional)
small amount fabric glue
tiny white pom pom
small magnet
Body:
Rnd 1: Chain 5, join w/ ss to form ring. Chain 3, work 20 tr in ring. Join w/ ss to top of first tr.
Rnd 2: Chain 3, work 2 tr in each tr around. Join. Fasten off.
Head
Rnd 1: Chain 4, join w/ ss to form ring. Chain 3, work 12 tr in ring. Join w. ss to top of first tr.
Rnd 2: Chain 2, work 2 dc in each tr around. Join. Fasten off.
Hold head and body with right sides together, working through both thicknesses, slip stich across 4 stitches. Fasten off.
Scarf
Row 1: With blue, Chain 5. Sc in second chain from hook and each chain across. Turn (4 sc)
Rows 2-8: Chain 1, working in BLO, sc in each sc across. Turn.
Scarf ends
In end of Row 8, work ch 3, 4 dc. In last stitch of Row 8, work ch 3, 4 dc. then working in BLO, work 1 sc in same stitch and each sc across. Fasten off.
Hat Cuff
Row 1: Chain 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each chain across. Turn (3 sc)
Rows 2-10: Ch 1, working in BLO, work 1 sc in each sc across. At end of last row, do not turn.
Hat
Row 1: Ch 1, working in ends of rows, work 10 sc evenly across length of hat cuff.
Row 2- Ch 1, work sc dec over first 2 sc. Sc in each sc across to last 2 sc. Sc dec over last 2 sc. Ch 1, turn. At end of last row, fasten off.
Glue Pom pom to last row of hat.
Paint or glue on eyes, nose and mouth using photo as suggested placements.
Glue hat to head. Glue Scarf to neck. When paint and glue is dry, attach magnet to back of fridgie.
