Pretty and simple shell pattern works up in worsted weight washable wool and novelty yarn for trim.  Garment is designed for lovely drape from the shoulders.  Sizes 1X-5X. I'm a size 26/28 and the 3X fits me generously.

Wool-Ease, Blush Heather (8 skeins for 3X)
Patons Twister (2 skeins in Rosewood for 3X)

Size K hook

gauge: 6 shells = 5 inches, 2 rows of shells = 1 inch

Shell: (sc, ch 1, dc)

Back:

Row 1:      Chain 124 ( 130, 136, 142, 150). Work shell in second chain from hook. *Skip 2 chains, work shell in next chain. Repeat from * across. Turn.

Row 2-68 (70,72,74,76)   Chain 1, in each chain 1 space of shell work shell. At end of last row, do NOT fasten off.

Right Front:

Row 1:    Chain 1, work shell in first 15 (16,17,18,19) shells. Turn.

Rows 2-68 (70,72,74,76)  Chain 1, shell in each shell across. Turn. At end of last row, fasten off.

Left Front: With Row 1 of right side facing you, skip 12 shells. Join with a slip stitch in ch 1 space of next shell. Work shell. Work shell in eachs hell across. Turn.

Rows 2-68 (70,72,74,76) Chain 1, shell in each shell across. Turn. Fasten off.

Trim
Row 1:
With Patons Twister, with right side facing you, join in first shell on bottom of left front. Work sc, ch 1 in each shell around and end of rows around, working sc, ch 1, sc, ch 1) in corner stitches. Join with slip stitch to top of first sc. Do NOT turn.

Rows 2:  Chain one. Work sc, ch 1 in each chain 1 space., working sc, ch 1, sc, ch 1) in each corner stitch. Join as before.

Row 3:  Work 1 sc in each sc and ch 1 space around.  Fasten off., leavign 4-6" for working in.
