Size I hook Worsted Weight yarn gauge: 3 hdc = 1" and 2 rows hdc = 1" Collar: Beg chain: Chain 12 sc in BLO (back loop only) of second chain from hook and each chain across. ( 11) Row 2-38): Sc in each BLO across. Chain 1, turn, at end of last row, fold piece in half and working through first and last rows, slip stitch in back loop of last row and unworked side of beg chain of first row. Turn collar inside right. Chest: Rnd 1: Now working in ends of rows of collar cuff, chain 1 and work 52,hdc evenly around. Do not join. Now working in rounds, use scrap off CC or split ring markers to keep track of beginning of rows. Rnd 2: Work 2 hdc in first stitch. Hdc in next 25 stitches. 2 hdc in next stitch, hdc in each stitch around. Rnd 3: Hdc in each hdc around. Rnd 4: Work 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 26 hdc. Work 2 hdc in next st, hdc in each stitch around. Rnd 5: Repeat Row 3. Rnd 6: Work 2 hdc in first st. Hdc in next 27 sts. Work 2 hdc in next stitch and hdc in each stitch around. Rnd 7: Repeat Row 3: Rnd 8: Work 2 hdc in first st. Hdc in next 28 stitches. Work 2 hdc in next stitch, work hdc in each st around. Rnd 9: Repeat Rnd 3. Rnd 10: Work 2 hdc in first st. Hdc in next 29 stitches. Work 2 hdc in next stitch, work hdc in each st around. Rnd 11: Repeat Rnd 3. Rnd 12: Work 2 hdc in first st. Hdc in next 30 stitches. Work 2 hdc in next stitch, work hdc in each st around. Rnd 13: Repeat Rnd 3. Armhole Rnd: Hdc in first stitch, chain 10 skip 10 hdc. Work hdc in next 12 stiches. Chain 10 , skip 10 14 stiches, hdc in each st around. Rnd 15 Hdc in each hdc and chain around. Rnd 16-24: Hdc in each hdc around. At end of last row, join with a slip stich and fasten off. Row 25 With RS facing, reattach yarn in first stitch to the left of center between front leg openings.. Now working in rows, work hdc decrease over first 2 stitches. Hdc in each hdc around to last 2 stitches, work hdc dec over last 2 stitches. Ch 1, turn. Row 26-43: Work hdc dec over first 2 stitches, 1 hdc across to last 2 stitches, work hdc dec over last 2 stitches. Ch 1, turn. At end of last row, fasten off. Bottom Edge Trim With underside facing you, and holding piece upside down, join yarn with chain 1 in end of row 25. Work sc evenly along ends of dec rows. Working across bottom edge, sc in each st across on last row. Working in ends of dec rows, work sc evenly down underside. Ch 1, do NOT turn. Work reverse sc in each sc across. Fasten off. Sleeves: Rnd 1: Attach yarn with ch 1 to any skipped stich on Armhole Row. Work 30 hdc around armhole opening. Rnd 2-12 Work hdc in each st around. At end of last round, join with a slip stitch. Rnd 13 Chain 1, sc in same st as joining and each st around. Join. Rnd 14 Chain 1, work reverse sc in each sc around. Join. Fasten off. Repeat on other armhole for second sleeve. |
