Size I hook gauge: 3 hdc =1" & 2 rows in hdc =1" Collar Beg chain: Chain 9 sc in BLO (Back Loop ONLY) of second chain from hook and each chain across. Chain 1, turn. Row 2-34: Sc in each BLO across. Chain 1,turn, fold piece in half and working through first and last rows, slip stitch in back loop of last row and unworked side of beg chain of first row. Turn collar inside right. Chest Rnd 1: Now working in ends of rows of collar cuff, chain 1 and work 40 hdc evenly around. Do not join. Now working in rounds, use scrap of CC or split ring markers to keep track of you beginning of rows. Rnd 2: Work 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 19 stitches, 2 hdc in next st. Hdc in next 19 stitches. Rnd 3: Hdc in each hdc around. Rnd 4: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 20 hdc, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in next 20 hdc. Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 3. Rnd 6: Work 2 hdc in first st. Hdc in next 21 sts. 2 hdc in next st, hdc in n last 21 sts. Rnd 7: Repeat Rnd 3 Armhole Row: Hdc in first st, chain 8, skip 8 hdc, hdc in next 10 hdc. Ch 8, skip 8 stitches, hdc around. Rnd 8 Rnd 9 Hdc in each stitch around. Rnd 10-18: Hdc in each hdc around. Join with SS at end of last round, fasten off. Row 19: With RS facing, reattach yarn in first stitch to the left of the center between front leg holes. Now working in rows...work hdc decrease over first 2 stitches. Hdc in each hdc around to last 2 stitches, work hdc dec over last two stitches. Ch 1, turn. Row 20-27: Work hdc dec over first two stitches, 1 hdc across to last two stitches and work hdc dec over last two stitches. Chain 1, turn. At end of last row, fasten off. Bottom Edge Trim With underside facing you and upside down, join yarn with chain 1 in end of row 19. Work sc evenly along ends of dec rows. Working across bottom edge, sc in each st across on last row. Working in ends of dec rows, work sc evenly down underside.. Chain 1, do NOT turn. Work reverse sc in each sc across. Fasten off. Sleeves: Rnd 1: Attach yarn with ch 1 to any skipped st on Armhole Row. Work 18 hdc around armhole opening. Rnd 2-6 Work hdc in each st around. At end of round 6, join with a slip stitch. Rnd 7: Chain 1, sc in same st as joining and each st around. Join. Rnd 8 Chain 1, work reverse sc in each sc around. Join. Fasten off. Repeat on other armhole for second sleeve. |
