PINK
KHAKI
Dept. for PK-14
Yo campers!

Incredible but true - it's issue 3 already! A little delayed due to holidays and illness, but hopefully nevertheless entertaining and fun!

Jay Acovone spent a very busy hour on the phone with our very own Rizwaana Husaini, talking about bikes, Stargate and the terminator - a great interview by a kewl guy, with additional barking dogs in the background! He also faced the music of Pinkie's Hot Six questions - enjoy!

And Pinkie The Blue Eyed Wonder also managed the unmanageable: she got General Allmint to take off his dress blues!!! Woooohaaa baby!

The fearless editors flew out to England and visited the ever popular Dr. Denzyl Sulkson, archaeologist, linguist and passionate coffee addict, at his rural home in Porridge, Suffolk. Much to our delight, we also met Colonel O'Phile there, who enlightened us about gardening. Read all about it in our homestory (and I'd like to point out that I'm not THAT short!)

Check out the gossip - Densie Dorfmeister collected some amazing rumours - including some movie news and Messrs. Anderson's and Shanks' ups and doings! Woof!

We also start some new series with this issue:

"Mysteries of the World" - there is more between heaven and earth, Horatio ... and one of these mysteries is definitely the mayan crystal skull which so prominently featured in "Crystal Skull".

Halfway into the season, it's time to have a look at the much-discussed Mister Quinn. PK talked to some of his fans, and we'd like to give them the chance to say why they fell for his charms.

PK brings you the eagerly awaited second installment of Alyx J. Shaw's "War" novel, reuniting us with Kita the Archaeologist Pet and an old friend.

We have a look at Leah Rosenthal's outstanding cartoons, there's the new glossary, our blue peter to online chatting, the crossword puzzle, well, all your favourits are here. Don't forget to check out the contest - this time we have *two* prizes to win!

Last but not least: our shop is open! You can buy T-shirts, mugs and mouse mats with Mkkas hilarious artwork - the profit will help us to keep this baby here running.

And if you have a spare fiver: please donate for the victims of the big flood in Germany. These people have lost everything, and really, really need our support.
Thanks in advance for this.

?So, and now stop hanging around here - out! Out! Go and read the latest issue!

Have fun!

THE CARTOONIST
MKKA is without a doubt one of Switzerland's most talented young cartoonists. He didn't get the nickname "El Magnifico" without reason ... !

Beside his comic strip "Agent Rosa", his work within the last months includes the illustrations for a documentation on the excavations and restaurations of a Roman town in Switzerland - a lovely book, informing about the life back in Roman times from two childrens points of view, Prittusa and Tetto. You can see one illustration
HERE.

Right now, he's working on various projects, but rumours go about a cartoon with an archaelogical background (do we see a trend here?)
