| After a very long, boring flight across the Atlantic, we arrived in Mexico City. Pikachu, with a sombraro and bullfighter's cape, gave a speech about how glad he was to be in Mexico. This time, the scene for the 25 000 excited fans was an ancient historical site, full of Aztec step-pyramids, just in front of the Pyramid of the Moon. Pikachu's touching speech, once again, left fans screaming for him to stay in Mexico forever. Security was tight again, however, with a few members on the steps of each of the smaller pyramids, watching Pikachu, who was on a stage in the centre. I spoke with another member of security later on. For the record, I could handle the fox . . . and the monkey with the necktie . . . but this one was, in fact, a little green dinosaur. Yes, a dinosaur, about 5 feet tall, with big buggy white eyes. He was wearing what appeared to be red boots and a matching red and white saddle, and had orange-colored plates running down his back. He also with his face veiled (as if that would help . . .). Need I give any more description? I think not. P.I: Um . . . excuse me . . . sir . . .? Do you have a moment for a short interview? Security: Yoshi likes answering questions! Yoshi would love to do interview! P.I: What do you think about Pikachu's World Tour? Security: Yoshi likes! Yoshi think Pikachu doing a good job on tour! Yoshis love to travel, and your world is much bigger than where Yoshi is from! Yoshi? Hmmmmmm. I decide to keep interviewing as if I hadn't heard the name. P.I: What do you think about the new security setup? Security: Yoshi do not know. Yoshi has heard lots of opinions from the others and Yoshi do not know who is right and who is wrong . . . P.I: Uh, okay. What do you think? Security: Yoshi think Pikachu is safe here! Nobody get through Yoshi and Yoshi's friends! P.I: Alright . . . what if? -never mind. Who are you guys? Security: Who are who? P.I: The security team here. Security: Oh! Yoshi can't tell you that! Pikachu told Yoshi not to tell anybody that! "Anybody" is you too! P.I: Okay . . . sorry, no offense intended. Can I get you to tell me your name, for future reference? Security: Ooooh! Pikachu told Yoshi not to tell a-ny-bo-dy what Yoshi's name is! So, ha! P.I: Uh, okay. I think I have an idea of what it may be though. Thank-you for your time . . . sir. Security: Yoshi hopes the Super Happy Tree gives you lots of happiness and food! |
