Remington's more endearing trait was a bit confusing to me when I first met him. He was sitting on the back of Sue's divan and kept dropping his head down until his beak just touched the couch back and was frozen in that position. I saw him repeat this a couple of times and thought he was having a seizure or something. I called to Sue in the other room and asked what the heck was wrong with him. She told me he simply wanted his neck rubbed! It was so adorable I almost cried and I thought to myself, "Ah, so this is the child-eating parrot! Very vicious indeed!"
