Let me introduce you to the loves of my life, my two girlies, Chloe (right) & Delilah (left). They were born at Tabu Lhasa Apsos in Western Oklahoma in 1991, Chloe in May & Lilah in June. Their legal names Tabu's Maximum Force Eltut & Tabu's Rhyme & Reason, but those seemed awful weighty for two little girls, so we gave them something a little shorter. |

Do I need to say that they are Lhasa Apso dogs. A breed that was originally from the mysterious country of Tibet. Owned by the Dalai Lama, my dogs ancesters were given as gifts to an American globe-trotting couple named the Cuttings. Bred to be watch dogs, they still take this job very seriously. Of course they wouldn't get very far in attacking an intruder, but would try, and you can be sure that no one will get into your house unannounced with a Lhasa on guard! |

Don't be fooled by their prissy looks. They pretty much like to do the same things as other dogs, but their specialty is being a companion. Here they are with a neighborhodd kid named Sadie at the park sitting on a picnic table. (Yes, they had to be lifted. Do you really think those short little legs could jump that high?) |

They are always in the middle of everything Mom does. I was weeding the tomatoes and Delilah felt the need to inspect the zinnias. |

Here's Chloe checking Mom's arrangement of the toys under the Christmas tree. Can you spot the tiny black face & eyes between the white mouse and brown bear? Peek-a-boo! |

"Mom made us get our picture taken for Christmas at the stupid studio! Worse than that she crammed us into a sleigh built for one! Merry Christmas?" |
