Unlimited Doubles!! by Steve C. Tourdo
Steve made the game of doubles so simple that in one reading you
can have your game improve a half a level. I currently have adopted
his system because it's simple and easy to teach.The drills he
outlines at the end of each chapter are great and can be altered
depending on the level of play you are working with. |

Pat Blaskower
The author gives very clear, specific info on court position in
every imaginabe situation. She breaks each position down to jobs.
You learn what is expected of you as the server, receiver and
partner of the server and receiver. It leaves nothing to guesswork.
This is a great book for womens' doubles. |

Tom Avery, et al. VIDEO
This is a fantastic video. It provides very simple fixes, for
seemingly intractible problems. The cues provided by Tom Avery
are easy to remember and very effective. This tape helps you understand
what you can do to improve your strokes, correct your mistakes
and hit consistently. It covers various hand/grip positions, body
position, forehand and backhand ground strokes, the service toss
and provides helpful, easy to remember ideas for correcting your
mistakes. |

al. VIDEO
The equal of the first tape, but with quite a different emphasis.
It gives enough strategy to keep most players thinking and improving
for quite some time. A well-done tape. The instructor is engaging.

Avery, et al. VIDEO
This Serve tape is simply awesome. Avery presents the correct
serving techniques in slow motion and great details. No written
material can really substitute his demonstration of the racquet's
movement on every stage of the serve. Troubleshooting, if the
ball goes to the net or long, is excellent. |

Tom Avery's style is his straightforward. His teaching methods
are easy to follow and remember. He doesn't overcomplicate what
he teaches, just breaks it down nicely in easy to understand segments.

This is an excellent,comprehensive(and lengthy -- about 2 1/2
hours)video. Instruction and "tips" are given by tennis legends
Arthur Ashe, Stan Smith and Vic Braden so there's plenty of variety
in it. It covers tennis from basics to more advanced practices
at a quick pace, but there's no problem folowing it ---especially
with the "rewind" feature of your VCR once in a while. |

This video is excellent if you are looking to develop big groundstrokes,
great lobs, and kick serves. This provides great basics for adding
power to your game and adds very good insight from Nick Bolleteri.
