| The center is open for WELL children. If your child is picked up or contracts an infectious contagious illness, you must keep your child out of daycare until your child is completely well or brings a doctor's permission slip stating that they are well enough to return to our facility. If your child has any of the following you will need to keep your child out of daycare for 24 hours or have a written permission slip to return your child to the daycare. 1. Diarrhea characterized by an increased number of bowel movements outside what is considered normal. May return after 12 hr.free of diarrhea. 2. Vomiting (2 or more episodes within a 24 hour period.) 3. Have red eyes or eyes accompanied by a discharge that is not clear. 4. Scabies or lice. 5. Unexplained rashes or breaking out of spots in other areas other than the diaper area. 6. Discharge from nose that is yellow/green. 7. Sore throat 8. Fever of 100 of higher. If your child becomes ill during the day, you will be contacted. Parents will be expected to come for the child as soon as possible. These precautions are best for the ill child, the staff and the other children. Thank You. |
