Pinecone Press - May, 2006
Myrtle Tolliver is our featured resident for May. Myrtle takes a very supportive part in the activities in our Park, as well as being active in church, the Ladies' Red Hat Society and with her own family members. Myrtle also serves as editor of our residents' newsletter, the Pinecone Press.
Anna M. Jarvis (1864-1948) is the founder of Mothers Day.
Rose Larsen's mother, Mrs. Butler, had an infectious sense of humor and the ability to think on her feet in any situation.
Annette Clift's mother, Loretta Ann Bell, sure was a cutie, especially in this photo, which must have been taken in 1915.
Here's Mamma Duck, on guard while her babies eat oatmeal with buttermilk, brought to them by Annette Clift in 1984.
Phyllis McKenzie painted this picture of a memory of  her mother, Blanche Dill Cosart, feeding her chickens.
