Old man Redwood is a 500-year-old tree who lives beyond the backyard fence! Although his deep raspy voice may sound scary, he isn't really scary at all. In fact, he is so old that he can't walk, or even move his limbs!
By night and day, Old Man Redwood watches over our PineCone People friends. The PineCone People are born high up in Old Man Redwood's branches, and then fall (giggling all the way) to the ground below. No one is ever hurt, because beds of pine needles cushions the fall.
While on Penny's quest to find her lost ball, Old Man Redwood gets his closest friends Bald Eagle, and Monarch Butterfly to help out by flying Penny to the top of his limbs so Penny can find a way home!
If you think that Old Man Redwood sounds like a nice guy, then you thought right! For those of you who thought that he was scary, I guess that you could say that Old Man Redwood's bark is worse than his bite!
