THE ETERNAL GIVER

Lets make hay while the sun shines,
Do other things when it rains;
God sends them both at the right times,
Making each day for our gains.

Every so often it showers,
Making it green everywhere;
Bringing all colors of flowers,
Sending their scents in the air.

Then comes the time for the mowing,
Giving our lawns every care;
Buying some seed for the sowing,
Covering some spots that are bare.

Soon the spring turns to summer,
Blossoms fall, fruit starts to grow;
They had all wakened from slumber,
When they were covered with snow.

Meantime, the gardens are planted,
Each given the best of care;
Weeding, whenever is granted,
Strengthening food it will bare.

But, to God give The Glory,
Providing for you and me;
Creator, Sustainer, adore He,
The Giver of all that be.
