LOOK TO GOD

Though it's not quite light of day,
Looks like snow has come to stay;
Seems like streets are all quite sleek,
Sidewalk footing, sometimes, bleak;
I'm just thrilled with all the snow,
Like a wonderland, just so;
As the snowmen, perk and neat,
Pop their heads along the street.

When the daylight comes along,
In my heart there is a song;
From the God, who shelters me,
When He fills my heart with glee;
Yes, our God makes no mistake,
When He, precious snow, does make;
Sets our world, at night, aglow,
From that precious, fluffy snow.

It's for spring, He does prepare,
As snow sparkles through the air;
Down on earth, to feed the seed,
For He knows our every need;
Gives a haven for the bird,
Who, from them, we have not heard;
Soon again, we'll hear them sing,
For, they're waiting now for spring.

Starting now, a Brand New Year,
Look to God, to ban all fear;
He is looking down at us,
At the world and all it's fuss;
For it's He, who is our Need,
And, in us, to plant His Seed;
In our lives, though comes some pain,
Look to God, He is our Gain.
