Spirit of God, You bless me,
Bless me all of the time;
Yes, with Your Presence, possess me,
Now, as You give me this rhyme.
Many�s the time I wonder,
What is coming next;
For, I don�t want to blunder,
It�s You, who knows the text.
Speak, to Your words, I�ll listen,
And write for You, what You say;
It�s from You, I receive wisdom,
And, for that, Jesus did pay.
Someday, someone may sing this,
Sing this as a song;
As a prelude to Christmas,
Which will be here �fore long.
Jesus, we�ll celebrate for You,
The Day that You were born;
Expecting Your �sudden return� soon,
