O, America, hear, I am calling you dear,
O, America, come back to God;
You're appointed, it's true, so I'm calling to you--
To arise, look to the skies--not the sod.
First, get down on your knees, I will listen to your pleas,
See the tears, from your heavy heart, that flow;
Ask me into your heart, let my life within you start,
So, the Savior of Life you will know.
Read my Word, seek the Truth, then your life will be the proof,
As you daily to your life apply;
All the wisdom therein, cleansing you from all sin,
Understanding your problems and why.
When you're ready, I'll use you, to help others to be true,
To the God, who's "the Only One that's good";
Come now, stand on your feet, and my Message repeat,
Where you go, share the Good News, like you should.
I'll be coming for you soon, be it morning, night or noon,
I'm expecting to see you in your place;
To you, I implore, that you open your heart's door--
Or, when I come, you will be-------in disgrace!
