1.) Instead of sleepwalking, you sleepmarch
2.) You are always in step with the person in front of you wherever you are
3.) Your toes are pointed up when you walk,
4.) You idolize �Band Camp girl� from American Pie
5.) You mutter �mark time mark�, mark time for four, then mutter �forward march� before you actually begin to walk.
6.) You air-key you music or air flag your routine when you are bored
7.) The opener for your show is ALWAYS in your head
8.) You count every step that you make
9.) You figure out what step size you are walking in
10.) When someone says �hi!� to you, the next four words you expect out of their mouth is �my name is Joe!�
11.) Your non-band friends get pissed because you�re always talking about inside jokes made during band
12.) You jazz run instead of regular running
13.) You do the Spandex dance
14.) Your friends tell you that when you walk it looks like you�re floating
15.) You start to notice that you are at school more often than your own home
16.) You can�t remember what your house, room, or family looks like.
17.) You begin to value those nights you�re home.
18.) You live on fast food and your mom�s home cooking becomes food fit for a God to eat.
19.) You automatically stand at attention, wherever you are.

23.) When you relax you find yourself at parade rest
24.) You hear clicks from drum line in your head and start saying �left, left, left, right, left�
25.) When your parents yell at you, you find yourself replying with �hut!� and not looking directly at them for fear that they might take points off or money away.
26.) You yell �mambo!� in your sleep and start dancing.
27.) You find band competitions more exciting than Homecoming or football.
28.) You find marching shoes more comfortable than normal shoes
29.) You want to wear your uniform all the time.
30.) Hair spray takes off the high
31.) Your parents don�t mess with your after practices.
32.) If you had an autobio, it would be called Marching Band
33.) You never go below 2nd place�out of two bands
34.) Dot book? What dot book? I made a hole in the ground with my foot.
35.) When you walk, you scan the ground for dots.
36.) When your mom says you�re having pancakes for breakfast you scream in terror, �Oh god no!�
37.) When you hyperventilate, your use of air is very efficient
38.) (Color Guard) On game days, it is considered a compliment when someone calls you a ho/whore/slut etc.
39.) All/99% of your friends are in marching band
40.) The only new friends you�ve made are in marching band.
41.) You start thinking marching band is cool/fun
42.) When going home is a luxury
43.) You wonder why drum majors don�t play drums
44.) When horndog means something to you
45.) When you can finger the whole show with no instrument/flag
46.) When band is the center of almost all conversations
47.) The band director in concert band says �mark time mark��and you actually mark time
48.) When the only thing you look good in is your uniform
49.) When you refer to the band room as your 2nd home
50.) When you want to hang a sign on the band room door that says �home sweet home� and put a welcome mat on the floor.
51.) When 69 points out of 100 becomes an acceptable score on a test.
52.) When your parents rent out your room.
53.) When your rents know to pick you up after practice or competition at least 15- 30 minutes after the time it says on the schedule.
54.) When you begin to judge other bands and take away points for every mistake.
55.) When you fantasize about becoming section leader or drum major.
56.) When you call all the people you're with your section.
57.) You know what at least 5 pairs of boxers are for each male member of the low brass.
56.) When free time becomes hanging out with the band and writing these.
