| * Alex and Aaron met when Aaron went out with Alex's big sister *The name of their album "Camino Palmero" comes from the name of the street where Alex grew up *Before the became the calling, Alex and Aaron formed a band called "Generation Gap" because they had a drummer in his 60's and guitarist in his 50's, and they were still 15 and 19! *The band got signed when a record producer moved next door to Alex. They posted demo's through his door every day and pestered his wife when she was gardening. Eventually he gave in and signed them! *Alex was recently in a Gap advert! (Thats it over there ---->) *Before they were famous they appeared in the film Coyote Ugly, singing Wherever you will go |

| ALL ABOUT ALEX BAND * DOB = 8th June 1981 *No his hair is not naturally that colour. *His Dad was born in Yugoslavia and was brought up in Rome, his mum is part Native American *He is half Jewish *He wrote the song "could it be any harder" about when his mum left him and his dad. *He has 2 younger half brothers, Harlan and Zalman aswell as 3 other half brothers who live in Germany with his mum. *He started playing guitar at just 8 years old. *Got his first record deal whe he was just 15 years old *He got a scar under his left eye when he was attacked by a dog on Christmas eve when he was 9 years old. *His dad (a holywood horror film producer, most famous film was probably Puppetmaster) owns a CASTLE in Giove in Italy. *He sometimes has walk on parts in his dad's movies. *Chews Wrigleys doublemint chewing gum when he is on stage *He has a tatoo on his left wrist which he got when he was 14 *He regulary sens messages to his fans on the official webpage *He did a duet with Santana, called "Why dont You and I" *He got married to long term Gilrfriend Jennifer Skye on July 15th at there home in Florida |

| ALL ABOUT AARON KAMIN DOB = 10th August 1977 *His dad is a lawer, his mum is a teacher *He speaks fluent italian *Is Jewish *He was at a top medical course before he got signed *He was electrocuted on stage in Bangkok (might explain the afro!) *One of his favourite movies is Zoolander *He used to be a class A ice hockey player. *He drove his first car (a honda accord)untill this year. | After two years of waiting I finally got to see The Calling live this year. And three times!! See the reviews of Party in The Park, Sheperds Bush in July and Glasgow in October. I seriously had the BEST times at these gigs. There is also a new line up. Since Aaron sadly decided to take a step away from the visual side of the band, a new touring band has been lined up. They are: Justin Derrico aka "chops" (guitar), Justin Meyer (Drums) Daniel Damico aka "Arms" (guitar) and Corey Britz (Bass) And of course we cant forget Flarb, Daniels friends sheep and band mascot ;) |
