single or single again this retreat has been designed

Be ready for a surprise for there is some great stuff organised for you.

Fri 31st July Weekend at
Bribie Island – staying at the House of Happiness, 2 Clement Street, Woorim.
Sun 2nd Aug Basketball & volleyball
courts, soccer field, tennis court, and a full size swimming pool. Sporting equipment available for guests. You will need to bring everything
including all food, linen, pillows, detergent, tea towels, dishcloths, and
garbage bags. (And yourself) Cost: $30
members, $35 non-members Remember!! Day
visitors on premises MUST pay for day. Require
at least 25 people for

Aug Steve Mitchell from Club Solo ‘Head Office” will be
preaching at the Wesleyan Methodist Church Service which will be held in the Senior Citizen’s
Hall, Hasking Street, Caboolture at 9:30am. All are welcome and encouraged to
attend.

Sat 15th Aug Bus Trip –
Somerset Adventure – enjoy a
relaxing Bus trip through some old country towns and experience some good
company whilst slurping coffee around the Somerset Dam region. Maybe a bit of
trout fishing or an old fashioned picnic???? Leaving Strathpine Westfield Carpark
(Near the Servo) at 7:30 a.m. Pick up at Bribie McDonalds 8a.m. Bookings

Kitchen: at “Billy’s on the Bay” – 109 Margate Parade Margate. – Appreciate the spectacular
panoramic views over Moreton Bay to the islands and (hopefully) a full moon.
Whatever the weather it is a great place to sit back and enjoy some good
fellowship checking out the evolving menu.RSVP by

Sun 6th Sept Committee Planning Meeting at North East Baptist Church Hall, Chapel Street,
Nundah. If you have suggestions for

Sept Laidley Spring Festival - Steam Train (suggest you park your car at
Nundah station and catch the train to Roma Street) leaves Roma Street
station 10 am, arriving Laidley about midday. Parade begins after Steam train
arrives. Shuttle buses to quilt and Craft expo, Laidley Cultural Centre for a
beautiful display of “Gardens & Flowers” BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL: RSVP Meg

fun and learn some basic dance steps. Time: 7:15pm (till about 10:30pm).
