It's me.  The real me, the one who writes this thing.  One thing I want to do with this blog is mix the Newsletter stuff with some "real" posts, so I figured what better to start it off with than some basketball.

This post over at the fantastic basketball site True Hoop collects some great mixtapes of NBA players, but it's missing one of my favorite players growing up, Dominique Wilkins.  The guy's defense could charitably be called "sieve-like," but the guy was a monster on offense.  There was a kid in my elementary school class who claimed 'Nique was his cousin (his last name was also Wilkins), and at the time I semi-believed him in that "it's probably not true, but man, what if" kind of way.

Anyway, here he is.

Somewhat unrelated, the Sklar Brothers told a hilarious story that involved meeting Dominique Wilkins' brother on AST Radio.   For what it's worth, no one does a better morning DJ impression (than the Sklars, not Dominique Wilkins' brother).
