My name is Marie, and I have loved horses since I was a small child.  As a teenager, I owned a beautiful, sorrel, Quarter/Arabian mare named Tamaron.  We were active in a riding club, and participated in local rodeos, running barrels, poles, and other game events.  Sadly, I had to sell Tamaron when I learned that I would be moving to Germany.  While living there, I took english riding lessons, but discovered that I still preferred western riding.  Later, I worked on a Tennessee Walker farm in South Carolina, and fell in love with the breed as a pleasure horse.  I am still crazy about horses, but am not in a position to own one at this time....thus, my involvement in the model horse hobby.

This is a picture of myself with my husband, and best friend, Ron.  We met on the Internet in January 1997.  He lived in eastern Canada, and I live in the southwestern United States.  In July 1997 he came for a visit, and we clicked just as well in person, as we did over the Internet.  We were married in a garden ceremony on September 06, 1997, and have been very happy.  He loves living in the United States, and we look forward to visiting his home in Canada in the next year or so.

Tamaron and I were together from sun up to past sun down during the summers.  I was all of 15 years old in this picture.

These are the only three pictures I have of Tamaron, so I treasure them.  She was a sweet, gentle, though spirited mare.  She loved running barrels best of all!
