Bought New in Box (NIB) in 1995!
The Rest of the Story

For all those that are interested, I thought you might be entertained on how I acquired this machine.

My Twilight Zone came from Alaska Vending Inc., the Bally Game Distributor for Fairbanks, Alaska.  It was shipped from another service distributor from Seattle, Washington back in 1995.  For some odd luck, the distributor had two in a warehouse which had never been placed in circulation.  It travelled by barge in a crate to Anchorage, Alaska and then to Fairbanks, Alaska via moving truck.  When I bought the game being that it was relatively new, I had no idea how good the game would be (I've had never played it, and many other people for that matter).  I bought it off the premise of enjoying the original Rod Serling television series, and though, "Hey, this seems like a good pinball theme...".  As luck turns out, it was better than expected.

As they say, the rest is history now.

I originally paid $2600.00 (tax and shipping to Alaska included).
I still carry the original sales receipt to this day.

Interesting bit of history?  I would say.
The game has traveled with me now for eight years and it is still very CLOSE TO MINT!
Quite a challenge considering I have moved 6 times.  It has less than 4000 plays since I bought the machine.
(Unfortunately, I no longer have the original crate and cardboard box, they bit the dust finally....)
