Chapter 3

~two months later::Surf Central~
"So, are you ready?" Sheridan asked her soon to be cousin in law.
"Yeah." Sara grinned. "I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow!" Sheridan smiled at her. "I'm so happy for you two. I mean, I just met you guys a few months ago and it feels like we're old friends."
"I know. I need a best friend around here, and it seems like you're it."
Sheridan blushed. "Really?"
"Yeah. I don't know what I'd do without you, Sher. I'm so glad that you decided to stay here in Sunset Beach."

Sheridan smiled. "Well, my father and brother are just going to make my life a living hell when they find out that I'm in love with Luis, and I mean, really in love with Luis, so we decided just to hang out here until we're ready to go back to Harmony. But we're not leaving anytime soon." She grinned. Sara came around and hugged her. "I'm so glad you're not leaving," Sara whispered. "I wouldn't have anyone to cause trouble with." They giggled and then Sara grabbed her purse. "I really need to make a shout-out to Theresa. She's been great helping us with the wedding. I'm so happy that she got an internship in one of the stores in Beverly Hills."

"Really?" Sheridan asked, wide-eyed.
"Yeah! You didn't hear?"
"No! When did you find out?"
"She came in for work the other day, and she told me. So she's going to be giving up her job at the store. She was really great, too." Sara sighed.
"I'm just glad that she's moving on to bigger and better things. Oh, come on, Sara, we're going to be late!" Sheridan said. She grabbed Sara's hand and they ran out the door.

~at the church~
Luis and Casey were inside the chapel, and Casey was pacing. "Yo, chill," Luis said. Casey stopped pacing and grinned sheepishly. "It's only the rehearsal, Case."
"Yeah, but I'm getting married tomorrow, Luis. Do you know how important it's going to be? Tomorrow I show Sara how much I love her, and that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, and--"
"I think she knows already."
"But"
"Hey, look, don't worry. But I need your help with something."
Casey smiled. "What is it?"
"It's this." Luis pulled out something from his pocket. Casey's eyes widened. "You mean you?"
"Yeah." Luis grinned. "But when?"
"Whenever you think is the right moment. Do you plan to do it soon?"
"I've been meaning to ask her for a while now. I just need to look for the right time."
"Well, if you really want to do it, you should do it as soon as you can."
"All right." Luis quickly slipped the box into his pocket as the door opened. "Hey, Meg, Ben," Casey greeted his soon to be sister in law and her husband.
"Hey, Case," Meg said. "Excited?"
"Nervous is more like it. I can't wait until tomorrow."
"Hey, don't worry about it. I've been through ittwice." Ben grinned. "Once Sara reaches the altar, it'll be easy from there."
"Okay, Ben. Thanks." The four of them stood there talking until Joan, Hank, Michael, Vanessa, Sheridan, Sara, and Theresa arrived. "Okay, guys," Theresa said, "let's get this show on the road!"

*later*
"All right, all right, that's enough!" Michael said, laughing. He had to pull apart the almost-newlyweds; they got so wrapped up in their kiss. They reluctantly pulled away. "If that's what's going to happen tomorrow, then" Casey grinned. Sara smiled, then slapped him playfully. Casey recoiled in feigned shock, and everyone laughed.

"Okay, come on, let's go to dinner," Sheridan said. "My treat."
"All right!" They all filed out of the church, Sheridan lastly. "Hey, you," Luis said, giving her a front-to-back hug. "Seeing Casey and Sara's wedding rehearsal makes me think of our wedding" Luis smiled and kissed Sheridan.
"Oh? What makes you think that we'll get married, or that our wedding will come soon?"
"Oh, I just know. And it'll come sooner than you think." He smiled.

Later that night, at dinner, everyone was talking about everything but most of the talk was about the wedding.
"So, where are you guys going for your honeymoon?" Theresa asked.
"Oh, Theresa, we took a lot of your suggestions into consideration, and we decided we're going to somewhere in the Northeast, probably to visit Casey's mom."
"Oh, cool, cool," Theresa said. "I bet you guys are going to have so much fun!"
"I know! You're going to have a great time!" Sheridan pitched in.
"All thanks to Theresa. We would have been so stressed out right now if it wasn't for you," Sara said. "Thank you so much. You're a God-send."
"Oh, it's my pleasure. I love weddings," Theresa said. "And fashion."
"I'm glad you've got that internship. Now you can move on to bigger and better things, and maybe even become famous!" Sheridan said.
"Nah, I'm not that good."
"Oh, don't be so modest, Theresa. Have you seen her designs? They're amazing," Casey commented.
"No, I haven't," Vanessa said. "But I bet they're fabulous."
"You'll see them tomorrow at the wedding," Sara said. "Meg and Sheridan will be wearing her designs, and she designed my wedding dress too."
"And I can't wait to see you in it," Casey put in. They all laughed. "You can't see me until tomorrow, Case. Sorry. But I will give you a little compensation," Sara said, giving Casey a kiss on the cheek. After they finished eating dinner, they all left and went their separate ways. "Sara, I'm going to miss you," Casey said, hugging her. "It's going to be forever until I see you again."

"Oh, don't be so overdramatic! It'll be only one night. And by this time tomorrow, we'll be married." Sara grinned. "Sweet dreams, my love." They kissed, and then Sheridan said, "Ahem. You know, there are people waiting for you."
"Hey, Sher, just wait until the night before your wedding day. Just wait." Sara grinned at her best friend. "Oh, Casey?"
"Yeah, Sara?"
"I love you." She kissed her fianc again.
"I love you, too, Sara."
"All right, all right, do we have to pull you two apart?" Meg said. "Come on, let's go, Sara." Meg and Sara were going to spend the night at their parents' house, as it was custom not to let the bride and the groom see each other before the wedding. Everyone that was left went their separate ways, with Sara looking back at Casey while she walked with her family to her parents' house, and Casey looking right back at his fiance while walking with Sheridan.

Tomorrow was looking like a pretty good day. :)
