Some thing about “Little
Smart”
1). Little Smart,
technically named PHS (personal handy phone system), has been talking its way
into China Mobile and China Unicom's markets in many provinces and is now
eyeing metropolises like Beijing
2). Looking exactly the
same of a mobile phone, the PHS handy phone provides almost the same functions
as its cellular counterpart. Based on the fixed-line telecom network, PHS uses
different transmission technology than mobile telecom. Provided by fixed-line
carriers, PHS has become a strong rival to mobile phones
3). The major difference between PHS and mobile phones lies in the charge
standards, with PHS charging much less, but offering lower transmission quality
and no roaming services outside a limited range
4). MII's(Ministry of
Information Industry) attitude to PHS is vague. On the one hand, it is worried
that PHS may hurt the mobile carriers, on the other, it is worried that
fixed-line carriers lack the attraction of new services
5). The most important new revenue source for China's
fixed-line carriers, PHS is attracting many customers who initially planned to
buy mobile phones
6). With its major
advantage in call prices - about 0.10 yuan (1 US cent) per minute, with only
the calling party paying versus mobile phone's 0.40 yuan (5 US cents) per

A. From this two method, Total I can say, they are
useful, but not that much, since both of the method are not deep enough, some
information already were known by many people , I mean some information already
not secret, many people know that already.
B. For Most Chinese, they
now really need some method to improve, but what they want is practical things,
and they want short time learning, for example: Learning English, If your
school offer a class is one year, and you have good teacher, but another school
offer same class, but just 3 month, even they haven't good teacher, but still
many students go to their school.
C. For the brainpower
method is ok, but for the verbal method, since Chinese language is different as
English, so some Method maybe not dress Chinese people.
D. For our method is just
short, and what is the plan to sale it in the future, because here I just think
about in China, if you go to bookstore buy a new book just 10 or 20 RMB, they
can buy a 300 pages book about how to improve themselves in 20 RMB, so what
price we will make for our method?
This month I tried the general knowledge test,
before I attend the test, I am so exciting because I am really confidence I
know many things, but after the test, I am a little disappointed. Here are my
comments.
1.
I
did a bad test, the mainly reason is I should choose 14 parts I don’t want to
test, but I thought it is choosing 14 parts that I am good in, so I choose
wrong.
2.
This
test content is really not fit Chinese.
3.
For
now, we need input the answer, but even I know the answer, for example a
artist, but I don’t know how to write his English name. And in the future, even
translate into Chinese, it is also a problem how to check the answer is right
or not.
4.
For
most the content is related Europe, not many about China, so that will give
most Chinese a problem, we also have been learning world history and other
things, but not that deep.
5.
I
think even some question, the answer is wrong, there are two questions related
China, but I am sure the answer is wrong.
6.
For
most Chinese, we think general knowledge means the knowledge we should know,
and it is useful for us, but I find some questions some like IQ question, not
useful for us. Example, how oils, silo, soil related to each other? How come
this question is a general question?
7.
So
if we need make a general knowledge for Chinese market, we need more change.
