"We're here for a good time, Not a long time."
I can almost remember
The things you used to say
The way you used to laugh at me
And the music you would play

I can almost remember
The way your eyebrows raised
How you would smile brightly
and the car rides that left us crazed

I can almost remember
The way you used stay up late
How you cooked macaroni
And at Christmas you'd make us wait

I can almost remember
It seems like yesterday
Three long years have passed
But everything is okay

Tim 'Trooper' Collins
The room falls slowly silent
Where you once played your song
There's no one left to sing
It seems it's been so long

The TV plays no Simpsons
Nintendo collects dust
Just since you disappeared
The world has turned to rust

I never asked questions
Although I wondered why
How you could barely live
Before you had to die

I miss Christmas morning
You would drag out of bed
Sit down beside the tree
And laugh at what was said

Who else could cook dinner
Using just what we had
Mac and cheese and tuna
Not caring it tastes bad

I wish I had known then
The knowledge I have now
Maybe I would be fine
And not miss you somehow
