1989 S-10 frame. Upper and lower control arms and knuckles from a 65 Impala. The rear is the 65 Impala rear narrowed and custom built crossmembers. The entire chassie has been shaved and reinforced. the engine is a late 70's corvette motor with vortect heads. The rear end is a home made independant suspension.(not sure if i am going to use it or not)
The cab has got a body drop and the rockers have been cut off. The door handles, mirrors, and body lines have been shaved.
The bed has had the entire floor removed, and the lower portion of the bed cut off. The tailgate, roll pan and lights have been shaved and molded in. Also the gas door and body line has been shaved. The hood has been cut and a seperate 55 chevy truck hood has been narrowed and molded into the hood for a xtremely big cowl hood. (Had to clear the motor)
If you can think of anything else i can do please feel free to sugest them. The truck has been put on the back burner. P.S. I have a 95 blazer interior with a modified dash and center console.
My 68 fullsize straight six. Massive body drop and no interior. Did this one night and never touched it again.
My 64 impala SS. it's got a slight body drop (just to tuck tire). 58 Impala cowl on the stock hood. 60 something corvette dragster rims custom color matched with the body. Custom front tilt hood. Custom gauges on the dash. and dual tailpipe extenders. may not seem much but this lil beauty has won me some shows.
