Hi, I'm the Academic Counsellor to Pacific Island Law Students.

It's a job I really like having.
What exactly is my job?  Nobody has given me a job description, but here is how I see it:

* To keep a general watch over the support programme for Pacific Island Law Students and help with administration.

* To be available as a counsellor for Pacific Island students on any matters that can't be sorted out by the Student Coordinator or mentors.

* To act on behalf of Pacific Island law students on any relevant concerns that come up at the Law Faculty level or in the wider University.

* To provide general support for Pacific Island students.   I try to keep in close contact with the Student Coordinator and PILSA.

My room is 416, on the fourth floor of 801.
My hours for student attendances during Semesters 1 and 2 in 2002 are:

  Semester 1:  Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30
                     Thursday  2:30 - 4:30
Semester 2:  I will be on leave.  Bill Hodge will act as co-ordinator.

You can also contact me by e-mail: the address is

Enjoy your time at Law School it is a good place to be.  And make sure you use all the support and facilities available!
