In Honor of Kristina Toth...
Kris died December 16, 2002. We miss you so much, Kris.
Kris:
October 7, 1986 -to- Decmeber 16, 2002
I love you like a sister and you live on within my heart and within all who care for you. May you find contentment, where-ever you've gone.
"May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road...
...
May it be shadows call
Will fly away
May it be your journey on
To light the day
When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun"
Enya, "May it be"
To Kris
From those who care about you and everything you are.
By Rachel, who cries tears for you and lets them remain in your honor.
"Tears are rolling softly
Down the cheeks of those who cared.
Girls are sobbing hysterically
While boys try not to despair
Some are in shock
Wondering how this ever happens.
The school is in an uproar
Overflowing with our saddness.
You are our friend and ally
Nothing could ever change that.
We feel for you now
With every tear from every heart
With every sigh and every cry
And with every sense of mourning. . ."
In loving memory of Kristina Toth
By Stephanie Berg
"A beautiful girl with a beautiful heart,
I knew she was different right from the start,
A smile was always shining on her face,
The best memories of her can never be erased,
From dark and scary to bright and mild,
She was truly Gods significant child.
She has forever touched a place in our hearts,
In her life we all played our separate roles,
She is now walking hand in hand with our Lord,
She has received the greatest reward,
The gift of eternal life is hers to keep,
We must always remember her as we continue to weep."
In memory of Kristina Toth (10/07/1986~12/16/2002)
By Ashley Renee Wykoff
"I saw you that day,
I never though you would be taken away.
I only said a passing Hi
Now I only get to say a crying good-bye
I never though it would be the last,
Even though it happened so fast.
Its so hard everyday,
Dealing with the fact you went away.
To people you are only a memory,
But, not to me.
You are my best friend,
Even though we never made it to the end."
Kris, youre always on my mind.
By Rachel Ann Reikowski, Kris, this was supposed to be a happy poem for my mom, but I got to thinking, then writing, for you, again.
"Snow is falling quietly,
Tiny feathers to the ground,
Smiles are shared silently,
The earth makes no sound.
Her face is lightly colored,
Tiny roses blush her cheeks,
I could have sworn her eyes just fluttered,
But I look away, my emotion at its peak.
Her hair is softly brown,
The very soul of Fall,
Showered by the town,
With every tear and call.
Resting with the Lord,
Weve nothing more to say,
And the rain has poured,
One more thing God bless you this day."

Kristina Toth died in a vehicle accident on December 16, 2002. She pushed her truck's brakes at a stop sign, and in the icy conditions, slid forth into an intersection where she was hit by another truck driver, broadside. According to the newspaper, she died at Covenent Emergency Care Center. They had to use the jaws of life to pry her body from the crushed remains of her truck.
Kris wasn't even half a mile from home.
God, I miss her so very much...
