New Year Crisis, Chapter 3
by Sin WARNINGS: YAOI, LIME The next morning, Yami woke to find ice-blue eyes warmly regarding him with amusement. Yami groggily looked at his predicament: Kaiba's arms were wrapped around his waist, as they had been when they fell asleep, but Yami was half-laying on Kaiba, one leg twined with said Seto's and his strong arms also hugging tightly at Kaiba's waist. He smirked up to Kaiba's bemused look. "Good morning," the young CEO greeted his rival and now lover. "Morning..." said rival and new lover replied, not moving. Silence. Then... "Any intention of moving...?" Seto asked, though not sounding if he cared to hear an answer. "None whatsoever," came the reply. A firm nod from Seto and he lowered his head to Yami's again, kissing him deeply. Yami moaned quietly in his throat, thoughts from last night pulsing back in one beat with his heart. He ground his hips down onto Kaiba's, rubbing their groins together. Kaiba groaned in response, speeding the kiss up and deepening it, a hand drifting down Yami's left cheek. A knock startled the youthful CEO from the kiss. Somewhere below him, Yami growled and prepared to swear-- at the least, if not cast Penalty Game-- towards whomever caused the interruption. "E-e-excuse me, M-m-master K-kaiba, but I am h-here to i-inform you that w-we have reached t-the island called D-d-duelist K-k-kingdom," came a worried voice through the thick wood, somewhat muffled. Kaiba nodded shortly, even though the being at the other side couldn't see the motion. He spoke, "Very well, dog. Leave me be, I'll be ready in a moment. Prepare the ship to await my return..." Feet scurried away from the door with a barely audible "Yes, sir" and "Of course, Master Kaiba!" and then there was silence. Yami sighed and disentangled himself from the commanding presence of Seto Kaiba. Who promptly regarded him with confusion. Yami gave him a small, bemused smile. "I need to find my hikari. I will bring him back here and then you may tell him what you have told me." He turned and walked to his pile of clothing with grace and no show of being shy, but frowned down at them as he picked them up. "You've wrinkled my clothing." A simple statement. "I wrinkled it? You didn't seem to concerned last night..." A simple reply. Yami turned, smirking. "I didn't see you boasting pure, cool confidence once I had started..." Kaiba flushed, very lightly. It was becoming to his pale skin and light eyes. Yami dressed, quickly striding to Kaiba, leaning down and kissing him. Kaiba caught his wrist as he stood. "Wait. I'll go with you." Yami gave him an impatient look. "Kaiba, I must go. Now. You needn't--" Seto Kaiba cut him off, giving him a sharp look. "Yami, I told you yesterday- you're not the only one in love with Yugi. I want to come as well. Pegasus has crossed a line with both of us, now let the both of us pay him back for it." Yami sighed, placing a hand soothingly to his temples, nodding. "Alright. You can come. But not if you are going to stand here for the next millennium holding my hand." Kaiba smirked and kissed Yami again, releasing the pharaoh's arm, and put on fresh clothing. They left the boat together, looks equally dark and moody. Pegasus was to have a lot on his hands this time around. No simple Duel would settle this match. Yami fully intended to annihilate the problem with cold efficiency this play. Walking confidently up the many stairs to Maximillion Pegasus' Castle, they strode to the guards on either side of the door. Kaiba prepared an icy glare and readied his commanding tones; Yami simply gave them an uncaring, iced look that was filled with such confidence at what he was doing, no one could wish to stand in his way. The look wasn't entirely casual-wear for Yami; for rather than his normal chilled confidence, it was a hate-filled gaze promising pain to any foolish enough to bar his way. The guards, however-- two large men weighed down by hulking muscle-- did not flinch under the normally unnerving gaze; they instead turned, sweeping open the doors. Yami walked on, uncaring, but Kaiba glanced to each guard, wondering. Pegasus, what is your game...? Why would you let us walk into your domain like this...? Not long later, the pair strode calmly down the corridors, towards a lesser-known jail-- the very same place Mokuba had been chained before Kaiba had the chance to save him. Kaiba scowled, remembering. Yami took no notice of his love's features and kept pace with none but himself. Upon hearing someone speaking, Yami slowed his step, walking noiselessly and swiftly, back stiff with confidence. |
