Masks
by Bradley

I have many different faces,
Different masks for different places.

Some are happy and cheery,
While others are dark and dreary.

These masks are not me,
For each has a different personality.

My real face I have never shown,
I find it only comes out when I'm alone.

I long for someone to see the real me,
Everyday I feel I put him under lock and key.

I wish for the day when someone will take on the task,
The task of trying to see behind my mask.

Someone to love me for who I am,
Not the masks that make me a sham.
