What I thought
Scene - Earth, a wedding shop. Aeryn walks in wearing a wedding dress, showing herself off for John. Aeryn says it doesn't work, at which John replies "it does, just not for the wedding".
Back in reality, John's doodling on his arm again. Chiana is asking him about asking Aeryn to come to Earth with him, when they're interrupted by a freaky old woman asking them if they'd like some chowder. The old woman says Aeryn may not like Earth anyway.
Scene - Earth, the wedding shop again. Aeryn tries to buy something, but the clerk can't understand her though Aeryn is trying her best, embarrasing Aeryn.
Chiana asks why the old woman didn't leave with the others. Chiana thought she was with John. Meanwhile, Moya has arrived at the Leviathan burial place. D'Argo and Rygel though are getting ready to leave to find their homes and gain their revenge, as the crew plan to bury what little remains of Talyn. However, Chiana has a vision of Moya being swallowed, just before another Leviathan rams into Moya.
Repairs firmly underway on Moya, the other Leviathan continues to stare them in the face. Pilot cannot make contact with the other Pilot on the other Leviathan, but the reason seems to be about Talyn.
Scene - Earth, a wedding chapel. Aeryn throws the bouquet, caught by Jool. A moment later John removes her tights and throws them at Rygel.
Back on Moya, the crew get started on repairs. However, Pilot has found that the other Leviathan has had three offspring, each of which have been enslaved. The first guess is that it won't allow Talyn's remains to be buried there as he is half Peacekeeper. Meanwhile, Jool is trying to give Aeryn some advice on whether to go with John (she intends to join a rogue Peacekeeper squad who assassinate to keep the peace, by the way), as Chiana tells him Moya should be okay. Chiana says that, when she told John not to come with her, she was sort of wrong.
Scene - Earth, what looks like Chiana's apartment. John walks in, Chiana asks him where he's been, playing with a belt. John says this is not right.
Chiana says she would love John to go with her, but she's got to find Neri. However, the topic goes back to the current predicament, and the old woman appears to offer her advice, not only as a chef, but a doctor and negotiator. Chiana leaves her to John to deal with, and when she's gone John is suddenly blinded by the old woman for a moment. The old woman says something about the truth calling, and he has visions of the wedding. Peacekeepers though get into the kitchen at the wedding, butchering the chefs. John shoots. He shoots at everything, both in his mind and on Moya, before being taken out by D'Argo. The old woman covers her tracks.
Pilot though finds out that the other Leviathan killed her own Pilot, and demands Moya takes Talyn's remains and leaves. Moya though refuses, believing Talyn has earned the right to be buried in the sacred space.
Scene - Earth, a large and empty restaurant on a bright sunny day. Jack and Aeryn are talking about life on Earth, and the conversation turns to John. Aeryn is miserable on Earth, and doesn't like the sound of what John plans - children, barbeques, and so on. John overhears without them knowing.
Back on Moya, John wakes. Moya can't beat the other Leviathan, and Chiana and Rygel are trying their best at negotiating with Moya to give up. The old woman though asks to be untied.
In negotiating with Moya, Chiana reminisces about Zhaan and how she was honest with Moya. Thus, Chiana decides to be honest as well. She gets angry, saying Moya should bury Talyn wherever she wants, and the other Leviathan should step down.
Scene - Earth, Chiana's pad again. Turns out Chiana's been shopping. Or more rather, shoplifting. Chiana's been doing some more rounds, finding out who the best man should be in a rather suggestive fashion. John asks why she can't just fit in, when Jack comes in, and he and Chiana start to kiss.
Back on Moya, D'Argo and John are discussing using D'Argo's ship to destroy the other Leviathan. Pilot butts in - apparently Moya isn't the first to be attacked by this Leviathan. Three others have been killed by it. The other Leviathan rams Moya again, and Moya starts to defend herself. She asks for the help of the crew to kill the rogue Leviathan.
Jool and John quickly discuss plans - sounds like Jool is to be with Chiana when burying Talyn, Chiana having acted as "midwife" at his birth. D'Argo and Aeryn are discussing theirs - involving a lot of shooting. The four meet up, Jool arguing they're wrong and are about to take a life. Seems the others don't care much. Aeryn leaves in the newly-acquired Prowler while John and D'Argo leave in D'Argo's ship.
Moya manages to dodge the other Leviathan and make it to the burial place, the other Leviathan chasing. The Prowler and D'Argo's ship in pursuit. Once Aeryn sees Talyn's remains she'll start firing at the rogue Leviathan, but the best she'll do is annoy her - the other Leviathan is far larger than Moya. Aeryn is just waiting for D'Argo's signal.
Scene - Earth, a pier. John is complaining at how people must think D'Argo's a freak, but it seems D'Argo is getting on just fine. D'Argo understands John must feel bad about being jilted by Aeryn.
On D'Argo's ship, John is annoyed everyone is leaving. D'Argo merely says Crichton would have left if he had the chance to return home as well. The two have an argument about coming to Earth between scenes (which makes it really hard to write a complete review that makes sense) before John sees something which can't be right on the ship.
Talyn's remains are scattered by Moya.
Jool comforts Chiana as she reminisces about Talyn. Rygel also asks to make some stirring words - "Talyn was special - a joy to his mother, and a credit to his species - both of them. With fondness, we lay Talyn, offspring of Moya, to rest in his sacred ground."
Meanwhile, the rogue makes a run at the debris, hoping to scatter Talyn's remains. Aeryn begins her attack run, and the rogue chases Aeryn, who leads her toward D'Argo and John. D'Argo fires a shot, totally destroying the rogue Leviathan. Rygel though seems a bit too overjoyed at this, and their new freedom from the rogue and the Peacekeepers.
With everyone back on Moya, John confronts the old woman. Turns out John made the others rescue her life pod after the Command Carrier exploded - she was previously a prisoner. When the others left, she stayed on Moya to repay her debt. She tells him that the lies John tells are not as bad as the ones that stay hidden. John tells her of his childhood dreams of space. Now he dreams of Earth. The old woman asked if her herbs helped - they stripped away his lies. John is tired of running, and asks her to show him again.
Scene - Earth, a wedding chapel. John slips a ring onto Aeryn's finger as the old woman whispers that lies restrain. John dances with Aeryn, who in reality is the old woman. Jack asks if he can cut in with the dance, and John dances with Chiana while D'Argo dances with one of his threesome "buddies".
Everyone's at the reception on the table of honour - Pilot, Rygel, Jack, D'Argo, John, Aeryn, Chiana and Jool, just as Jack proposes a toast. However, Jack gets shot in the head as Peacekeepers storm the room. The old woman on Moya tries to persuade John to see the truth, but everyone in the room is quickly slaughtered by the Peacekeepers. The wedding cake is shot to smithereens, and a cake symbolising Moya is destroyed. With only John left to resist, Scorpius walks in.
Well, what did he expect?
Reviving back on Moya, John tells the old woman it's all a nightmare. He can't take his friends to Earth - he has to choose. The crew of Moya, who are all leaving, or Earth.
John confronts Aeryn - he wants to go with her. Aeryn doesn't want to watch John die again, and John asks her if she loves John Crichton. John doesn't want the woman he loves to fly off. He invites her to a coin toss about staying or going. Aeryn refuses - she just wants him to go home, but John won't. The only thing he has is her. Aeryn says it's too late. She asks if he loves Aeryn Sun. He replies yes. Aeryn asks him not to make her say goodbye, but in the end she and John toss the coin...
John Crichton is floating in space a short distance from Moya in the Farscape 1 module, reliving some of the dreams he had of when his friends were with him on Earth. D'Argo, Rygel and Chiana have left for where they plan to go.
D'Argo - "Anything positive I do with the rest of my life, is because of you."
Chiana - "You'd better not forget me. Don't forget I love you."
Rygel - "Of all the lesser species, I admit I've grown to like yours the best."
He remembers Aeryn's last words as she left for her new life, before Jool wakes him, wondering what's up. He's heading back to Moya. Harvey interrupts, informing him they'll be together. He presents John with a present, or more rather a memory buried, of the old woman informing him Aeryn is with child.
John tries to get Moya to pick him up and pursue Aeryn. Jool argues, but the old woman threatens to bite her ear off, just as a wormhole appears, sucking Moya in, and then vanishing.
Now, John Crichton, astronaut, is well and truly lost...
Again I decide to genuinely surprise myself with this episode, and it was worth it. Some bits were very good, with the wedding sequences and the whole myriad of plot developments in this (which made a review pretty damn hard to do). The acting was top notch, and the sets and wedding sequences were excellent. Overall though, it's a plot which both can confuse slightly and delight, as the action flits from Moya and her situation to John's imagined Earth, and it probably won't be fully explained until the next season (which is now sure to bring unimaginable tension between John and Aeryn). The music is also worthy of note, as are the sets on Earth (considering it only went there for a small amount of the episode). The cliffhanger wasn't (for me) as good as the other two, but it makes you go back to the original premise of Farscape - John lost in space. Overall, I think 4 out of 5 (very tempted to give it a 5 though).
