#0115 - Durka Returns

Overview
Colliding with a Nebari transport when emerging from Starburst, Moya brings the Nebari crew aboard. Moya's crew are surprised to find that it is a Nebari prison transport, taking a prisoner named Chiana to be mentally cleansed (ie lobotomized). Rygel is even more surprised though to find that his old torturer Durka is one of the party, but is now mentally cleansed. Either way, that doesn't stop Rygel trying to exact his revenge, but Durka eventually gets other ideas.

What I thought
Oh yes, we liked this. Rygel's old 'friend' returns (we really need more of the little green guy), along with some new aliens and some great effects. There is some decent character interaction and conflicts here, as Rygel tries to kill Durka many-a-time (and nearly ends up killing Crichton, then getting strangled by both Durka and Crichton), and Salis has a little bitch at Crichton. Chiana is a good new character, nicely portrayed in this episode, and then the nice stuff - Durka 'goes Hannibal Lecter' as John puts it, takes Aeryn and Rygel hostage, and leads to a nice speech by Rygel. Then we've got, again, some really great effects, especially as Durka runs into his ship and charges up weapons, just as Crichton looks on (nice blue-screening there I presume). Very tempted to give this a 5 - OK! 5 out of 5!
