| 2 tbs. olive oil 1 onion chopped 1 head garlic chopped 1 can whole tomatoes pureed 2 pound of meat can uses (1 lb. shrimp peeled/ 1 lb. sausage sliced) (chicken cubed/sausage sliced) or 2 pounds peeled shrimp for lent 1-2 tbs. Tony�s to season 2-3 drops of Tabasco to season salt and pepper to season 1 cup rice parsley First heat oil on medium heat. Add onions and allow to sweet until they just start to burn then add garlic and cook for a min. Next add tomatoes meat and seasoning and cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how strong you want it to be. Next add 1 cup of water and turn up to high heat until water boils. Add rice turn to simmer and allow to cook approximately 20 min. or until water is absorbed. Allow to cool uncovered 5 min and then sprinkle with parsley. |
