General Information

Camera Collector is a program designed to run on the Palm Computing Platform(r) that gives users the ability to track their camera collection. Camera Collector can also be used to keep track of items you are looking for without the bulky book.

Camera Collector is written and maintained by Edward J. Chevalier of Pilot-Ed's Handheld Solutions.

Requirments

* A 3Com (or IBM) Palm Connected Organizer running PalmOS v2.0 or later.
* 5k of free memory on your Palm for the program files/databases
* About 10k of memory free on your Palm during runtime of the application.

The following is a list of files related to Camera Collector v2.x and information about the necessity of each:

* condmgr.dll - conduit manager library
* HSAPI.dll - HotSync library
* Instaide.dll - installer library
* UserData.dll - user data library

Features

Camera Collector is a simple tool designed to help you track all items in your collection as well as any items you are looking for. You can track the following information:

* Make
* Model
* Serial Number
* Production Dates (years)
* Notes
* Current Value
* Original Cost
* Your Cost
* whether or not you own one

The items in the database are sorted and can be viewed by category. To delete an item from the database, leave either the make or the model field blank.

Camera Collector is distributed under the shareware "try before you buy" license. It costs $7.50 to register due to the many many hours of work that have gone into bringing this product to realization. Benefits of registration include:

The author of Camera Collector is not affiliated with Palm Computing, and is not liable for any damages caused to the user or the user's computer equipment (including both their home PC and their Palm). This program has been tested on a Palm III, Palm IIIx, Palm IIIxe, V, Vx, VII, and Handspring Visor and to the best of the author's knowledge will not harm similar equipment. However, by installing this product the user dissolves the author of all liabilities related to this program or otherwise.
