| This fortified barn stands at Swans farm Winchfield. The barn is situated in the middle of the farmyard right on a bridleway that leads a short distance walk to Sandy Hill bridge on the Basingstoke canal. Close by is a type 24 overlooking the farm. SU 763529 |

| The barn is really now only now walls, with no roof or real purpose, two loopholes are apparent one larger than the other. These defences formed part of the GHQ Line (Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey/Kent) - West - East section of GHQ Line running from Reading through Hampshire and West Surrey to Kent (Leigh) following in part a line south of the North Downs.
