| These Vickers Machine Gun pillboxes they are only yards apart, and are situated alongside Plough Lane, Bramshill SU751606. |

| They overlook the Whitewater valley, however there is no evidence of blast walls ever being there, which is what a standard pillbox of this type would have had. Tim Denton who took these photos and supplied the text tells me that they are in superb condition. |

| This shows the interior of one of the pillboxes showing the table for the Vickers Heavy Machine gun. These pillboxes probably formed part of the GHQ Line (Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey/Kent) - West - East section of GHQ Line running from Reading through Hampshire and West Surrey to Kent (Leigh), then following in part a line south of the North Downs. |
