| At Basingstoke Railway station these loopholes still face south. They are in good condition, 15 ft above the road and only 2ft above the track. SU 638 525 |

| These loopholes were part of Southern Command: Stop Line (Hook - Salisbury/Totton) - Stop Line running south west from the GHQ Line at Hook via Andover and Stockbridge to Salisbury, with spur to Romsey and Totton. They were also part of Basingstoke anti-tank island.(Photos and text Tim Denton) |
