Haiti "La perle des Antilles"
Haiti is located in the Caribbean Sea near the Bahamas; Haiti shares the same Island with the Dominican Republic. The name Haiti "La perle des Antilles" which translates the Pearl of the Caribbean was attributed to the Island by the French settlers due to the fact that it was not only beautiful with wonderful beaches & plains also the Island was wooded at 99%. In the 1700's the French made Haiti very prosperous, all those riches were accumulated by the hard labor of the African slaves. After the revolt of 1803, Haiti became independent. Throughout the precedent year Haiti has lost his resources in terms of production of sugar cane, cocoa, cotton and so on my friends. In my point of view that failure is due to the fact that firstly the leaders failed to let them guided by God and secondly because of a lack of education in the majority.
Daily life of a kid on the streets of Haiti
It can be very sad to describe the life of those children because they suffer each and everydayk, they are vulnerable of bad things of the society. In fact on the streets they are exposed to many tendencies which will be destructive for their lives. You can imagine, on the streets they don't have a guide that will help them grow a good man or woman. They just wander everyday, that are where they sleep, their lives are being ruined by misery. Often they pass as far as 4 days without any food in their stomachs. If they are supported and guided, who knows if there is not going to be a Moses amongst them, or a Abraham or just a simple citizen but who will serve as a pillar for society. You know my friends the futur is for the young people.
What we need
Food is the primary need for the orphans. it cost $ 50 to sponsor a child for a month. It cost $ 32 to buy 50 kg of rice which can feed 5 children for a month. It cost $ 25 to buy 12.5 kg of ground corn; it's the same cost for the same amount of wheat. It cost $ 6 to buy 1 gallon of vegetable oil. My people needs very much the word of God for their souls. Please we need to buy a portion of land so we can build an orphanage with school, in that same location I would like to make an expansion for them to study a profession. Please don't say you don't care because they are not your children, whatever you're a Christian or non-Christian we are all the children of God. Please even if you can't personally help me, but try to put me in touch with people who could help my ministry.
