| SUNDAY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT: SUPERINTENDENT : ELDER CURD To educate all members of the church about the word of God. Classes are as follows... ADULT MEN (ages 19 & up) TEACHER: Elder Harper ADULT WOMEN ( ages 19& up) TEACHER: Mother Lockett INTERMEDIATE ( ages 12- 18) TEACHER: Sister Reynolds PRIMARY ( ages 2- 11) TEACHER(S): Sister Harper & Sister Curd. SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFICERS/TEACHERS: All officers and teachers are pre-approved by Pastor and in good standing with chruch. ( for sunday school program click here) |
| USHER BOARD DEPARTMENT: HEAD USHER/PRESIDENT: SISTER HARPER Scripture(s): Ps. 84:10, Ecc. 5:1-2, Heb. 13:1-2 RESPONSIBLITIES: To greet, receive and seat all saints and vistors coming to church, distribution of programs, direct the march of the congregation to offering tables on Sunday and to prepare the sanctuary for service. All ushers are in good standing with the church. |
| DEACON BOARD DEPARTMENT: HEAD DEACON/PRESIDENT: DEACON MOODY Scripture(s): Acts 6:17, Tim. 3:8-13, Titus 2:7-8 RESPONSIBILITES: Prepare the sanctuary for service along side the ushers, prepare congregation to bring tithes/offerings, take up any special offerings, work on financial planning for the church and any special tasks during special services such as preparing the Communion Sacrament (wine/bread) for adminstering of the Lord's supper or/and preparing water and towels for feet washng services. All deacons are appointed by the pastor and in good standing with the church. |
| PASTOR'S AIDE COMMITTEE: PRESIDENT: SISTER DUVALL Scripture & Motto: Col. 3:23-24 PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILTIES: To assist in relieving some of the needs of the pastor and the mother of the church, assisting them both in general ( from a glass of water to taking care of anniversary services), to raise funds that assist in pastor's travel, providing refreshments for pastor and visiting ministers, responsible for the maintain of the pastor's preaching robes and to plan and coordinate first sunday's fellowship lunch. All serving on this committee will be in good standing with the church. |
| A.B.Y.P.U PRESIDENT: MOTHER LOCKETT HELPER: SISTER REYNOLDS PURPOSE: To evangelize, develop and train youth for service to the kingdom of God. To produce pastors, missionaries, international leaders in every auxilairy of this organization. |
| WOMEN'S COUNCIL PRESIDENT: MOTHER LOCKETT Scripture(s): II Tim. 2:24-25 PURPOSE: To unite the women of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ as workers for Christ both at home and abroad. All women of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ are members of this Auxilary and in good standing with the church. |
| MISSIONARY DEPARTMENT: HEAD MISSIONARY/PRESIDENT: MOTHER LOCKETT Scripture(s): Phil. 4:3 PURPOSE: To aid the church as an organism, to perpetuate the doings of saints in the beginning of the church, to be helpers along with the ministers and pastors, bringing souls to Christ, comforting those in need, giving godly council in the fear of God, teaching the younger women to be chaste keepers at home, and so walk, shunning the very appreance of evil that the gospel be not blasphemed and to labor together with the brethren in establishing churches and spreading the Word of God which is truth. All missonaries will be in good standing with the church and certified in this field. |
