The following adjustments are then required:
Pair 1 are penalised 2 MPs (the difference between average and average minus on two boards) for playing two wrong boards.
Pair 11 are deemed to have played two additional boards on which they get an average minus, for playing two wrong boards and not playing the boards they should have played. This adjustment turns out to give them a slightly higher % than they had before, but the difference is too small to worry about.
Pair 14 are deemed to have played two additional boards on which they get an average plus, as they missed out on playing two boards through no fault of theirs.
