Il "De Profundis" di Pierucci
Il 22-23 settembre 2001, il Coro lituano Aidija, insieme al Vilnius
String Quartet, al soprano G. Skeryte e al flauto solista G. Gelgotas,
hanno eseguito in prima mondiale la cantata "De Profundis".
Il testo è di Regina Derieva, scrittrice ucraina, d'origine
ebrea, battezzata cattolica, la musica di Fr. Armando Pierucci, francescano
marchigiano, organista nella Basilica del S. Sepolcro a Gerusalemme.
I concerti, promossi dall'ambasciata lituana in Svezia e da Comunità
luterane, si sono svolti nelle chiese di S. Sofia e S. Chiara a Stoccolma,
di S. Maria a Sigtuna e all'Università di Upsala.
La musica è stata accolta con profonda commozione. "Il testo
- ha detto un ascoltatore - è pieno di tristezza; la musica apre
il cuore alla speranza". Il Coro Aidija ha inciso il "De Profundis" in
CD. |

The "De Profundis" of Pierucci
On the 22nd-23rd of September 2001, the Lithuanian Choir Aidija,
together with the Vilnius String Quartet, the soprano G. Skeryte and the
flute soloist G. Gelgotas, performed the world premiere of the cantata
"De Profundis". The text is the work of Regina Derieva, a Ukrainian writer
of Jewish origin but baptised a Catholic. The music is by Br. Armando Pierucci,
an Italian from the Marche, organist in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre
in Jerusalem. The concerts, sponsored by the Lithuanian Embassy in Sweden
and by the Lutheran Community, were performed in the Churches of St. Sofia
and St. Clare in Stockholm, of St. Mary in Sigtuna and in the University
of Upsala. The music was received everywhere with deep emotion. "The text
the listeners said is full of sadness; the music opens up the
heart to hope". The Choir Aidija has cut a CD of "De Profundis". |

"De Profundis" von Pierucci
Am 22./23. September 2001 hat der litauische Chor Aidija, zusammen mit
dem Vilnius String Quartet, der Sopranistin G. Skeryte und dem Soloflötisten
G. Gelgotas, in Weltpremiere die Kantate "De Profundis" aufgeführt.
Der Text stammt von Regina Derieva, einer ukrainischen Schriftstellerin
jüdischer Abstammung und katholischen Glaubens, die Musik von Fr.
Armando Pierucci, einem Franziskaner aus den Marken, Organist an der Grabeskirche
zu Jerusalem. Die Konzerte, eine Initiative der litauischen Botschaft in
Schweden und lutherischer Gemeinschaften, fanden in den Kirchen der hl.
Sophia und der hl. Klara in Stockholm, der hl. Maria in Sigtuna sowie an
der Universität von Uppsala statt. Die Musik wurde mit tiefer Rührung
aufgenommen. "Der Text so ein Zuhörer ist voller Traurigkeit;
die Musik öffnet das Herz zur Hoffnung". Der Chor Aidija hat die Kantate
"De Profundis" auf eine CD aufgenommen. |

Les 22-23 septembre 2001, le chœur lituanien Aidija, avec le concours
du Vilnius String Quartet, du soprano G. Skeryte et du flûtiste soliste
G. Gelgotas, a exécuté en première mondiale la cantate
"De profundis".
Le texte en est de Regina Derieva, écrivain ukrainien d'origine
juive, baptisée catholique; la musique est du fr. Armando Pierucci,
franciscain des Marches (Italie), organiste de la basilique du Saint-Sépulcre
à Jérusalem.
Patronnés par l'Ambassade lituanienne en Suède et
la Communauté luthérienne, les concerts se sont donnés
dans les églises de Sainte-Sophie et de Sainte-Claire à Stockholm,
de Sainte-Marie à Sigtuna et à l'Université d'Uppsala.
L'œuvre musicale fut accueillie avec une profonde émotion:
"Le texte", déclara l'un des auditeurs, "est plein de tristesse,
mais la musique ouvre les cœurs à l'espérance." Le chœur
Aidija a enregistré la cantate sur CD. |
