Best: A childhood background of
competitive gymnastics, swimming and diving
prepared Karen for her first introduction to
Pilates in 1985 when she was majoring in jazz
dance at the Philadelphia University of the Arts.
It was at this time she also trained as a fitness
instructor at the renowned London Workout, with
Greg Twombly of Creative Instructor Aerobics.
Karen has continued her fitness career with
fitness video appearances, professional training
in Tai kwon do, nutrition, anatomy, kinesiology
and up to the minute teaching methods.
After teaching in health clubs and big programs
for over 15 years, Karen is branching out and
extending her experience into her own venture,
offering clients an individualized approach in
attaining their goals in a healthy lifestyle.
