RULES

Basic Rules

Rule #1-  This guild is for everyone to have fun!

Rule #2- We prefer player-created characters, but most Dragonball, DBZ or DBGT characters can be chosen to play with.

Rule #3- If you would like to train, buy an item, travel, fight, or whatever e-mail the Head GM (me).

Rule #4- GMs or GM appointed refs are the only ones that can run fights.

Rule #5- To fight an opponent, you and that opponent must be on the same planet.

Rule #6- If you are enterring a fight with a special condition already activated, you must tell the person running it before it starts. Things that can be activated before a fight- Hide Power level, wearing/taking off clothing and armor, some other things, at the GM or Refs discretion.

Rule #7- If you die in battle, you go to the next dimension.  You can still do almost anything there, but you stay there until you find a way back, or I'm just sick of having you dead.

Rule #8- In a fight, the Ref's word is law. If you have a problem with a ref ruling, wait until after and contact a GM. If you have a problem with a GM besides myself, contact me.  If you have a problem with me, you really have a problem.  CHEATING BY ANYONE, ESPECIALLY GMs and REFs will not be tolerated.

Rule #9- In reference to this game, the head GM (me) is god. If you have a problem with me, take it up with me. As long as you speak rationally I'll consider your complaint. I reserve the right to toss people out for whatever reason besides any in game attacks against my characters.

Rule #10- Other GMs can kick people out only after making a request to do so to me.  Refs and normal players can't kick out players. Don't whine if you are kicked out, there's usually a darn good reason for this.

Rule #11- Just because something is not posted on the site, doesn't mean that it is not in effect. Many things are kept off the site because I want people to figure them out for themselves.

Rule #12- You can only have up to 2 characters at a time, and only one of these can be from the Mangas and Animes.

Rule #13- You can have more than 2 characters under a few conditions (I must give permission for any of these): if your character has an offspring, if one character is currently unused and goes inactive, and finally if your character purifies itself or otherwise copies itself, you control both (almost always the copies hate eachother and refuse to fuse back).

Rule #14- Any Characters that are listed as "trainers" or are considered too important as NPCs to be allowed (at GM's Discretion) are banned as PC (example- While Android 17 is allowed as an PC, Artificial Human 17 is an important and integral villian and will not be allowed)

Rule #15-  Insulting people outside of In character talk is considered against the rules, and may cause immediate banning.

Other Rules

Money: There are a few ways to get money.

    Sell items

Get a job: See training section for more information

Wish for money: See Dragonball rules section for more information

Get it loaned from an NPC

Take from opponent after a battle

You may not give players money or loan players money. This is purely to cut down on cheating.

Dragonballs

    1. To summon the Eternal Dragon, you must collect all seven dragonballs of the set.

    2. You get 1 wish from the Earth Dragonballs, 3 wishes from the Namekian Dragonballs, and 1 much more powerful wish from the Black Star Dragonballs

    3. All wishes must be approved by the Head GM (me).

    4. With one wish on the Earth Dragonballs, you can wish any number of people to life, but each person can only be revived once with them.  The Namekian Dragonballs can wish anyone back any number of times, but only one person per wish.

    5. All wishes that effect another player must be accepted by that player, or the wish is forfeited.

    6. To use any set of dragonballs, you must speak the language of the planet of origin (Black Star accepts any language).

    7. Each set of dragonballs has a special password, for instance, the Earth password is basically telling the dragon that it is being summoned.

    8. For a Namek to create another set of dragonballs, he must e-mail me with the request, spend time training under Kami or Guru, and then find a planet without dragonballs to create them on.  Any new sets must have atleast 2 restrictions placed on them that must be stated with the request.

    9.  I'm not going to tell you what you can wish for. You'll just have to figure that out on your own.

Battle System

This is a turn-based system. The combatants go in the order of highest mental.  Every 10 times around the turn rotation counts as a phase.  When the phase is complete, every character gets back health=2x their physical.

Things you can do on your turn

Power up- add your power up stat to your current Ki.

Use a move- Expend Ki if the move requires the expendure of ki.

Give power- You can give any Ki you have built up to another player

Grab- Acts as a physical attack, just instead of doing damage, you grab the opponent.

Move/Run- Move at your move characteristic. After normal movement you can still attack, but you can only move 1/2 as far.

Throw- throw any object you have grabbed on to like an attack.

Add power to a blast- If you have a continuous blast, you can power up and instantly add that energy to your blast.

Things you can do in response to attacks

Try to evade- This is the default action if you don't try anything else.

Try to block- Your defense (and not hits) increases 1.5x, but the attack automatically hits.

Try to Parry a physical attack- Calculated as if you're attacking. This replaces your evade skill. Loser gets hit.  Difficulty to do this increases each time you try it in the same fight.  Trying to catch a physical attack acts like a mix of this and "Grab" from the above list.

Catching Ki- Hard to do.  Your chances of catching it are calculated as if it was a blast you had fired (+10 to difficulty)

Blasting through Ki- You can try to fire a blast through your opponents' blast.  If the blasts are near in strength, they are both sustained for turn after turn until one side becomes strong enough to overpower the other blast, or someone gives up.  Though it is easy to fire through a blast, it is very hard to do this successfully, and many times the defender's blast misses.

Kiai- This move can only be used in response.  If you don't put enough power into it, the blast automatically hits.  Any form of barriers must be used on your turn only and not as a response move.

OTHER INFORMATION THAT USED TO BE ON THIS PAGE HAVE BEEN MOVED TO OTHER PAGES.
