Dear Family & Friends,

I know that it has been a very long time since I have been able to update my website or put anything new on it but I am taking the opportunity today to do just that since I have a free day. Got love Holy Days! (lol)

I'm doing pretty well. I love my classes on Personhood, Community Life & Living, and French. Yes, even French. However, I am a very slow learner. But I am learning a few words and phrases. I'm also helping Sister Dorothy with the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program at the local parish. That takes up my Wednesday evenings.

I'm keeping pretty busy with studying and my other responsibilities, which include setting up for daily Mass, dishes about 3 nights a week, catologuing and shelving books in our library, and visiting our Sisters at St. Anne's. For those of you who don't know what St. Anne's is, it is a wing at our convent for Sisters who need a little (or a lot) of assistance from nurses and CNAs. Currently I'm helping Sister Corrine organize her photos and getting them into books.

Yesterday was a difficult day for me as I felt extremely lonesome but it was nice that I was able to talk to some of the Sisters about that. And I found out that I wasn't the only one. A few other Sisters said that they were feeling the same thing. Maybe it was something in the weather.

Speaking of weather, we had been having fabulous weather for October. It was in the 60s nearly every day. Although there was one day where it got down to 6 degrees. Other parts of our state had a snowstorm the early part of October. Two of our Sisters live in an area that received 24 inches of snow. But Valley City did not receive any at all. I'm actually looking forward to that first snowfall. I always enjoy the first snowfall.

There really isn't much else going on right now so I think I'll end this for now. I'll write more whenever I get the opportunity.

Please keep the thoughts & prayers coming as those are really helping me to deal with my loneliness. Be assured of mine for each of you!

Love,
Sister Kimberly
