COMPETITION MEETING

The next Pikes Peak Camera Club meeting will take place Tuesday, August 6th, 7:00 PM. at Living Springs Worship Centre, 640 Manitou Blvd., Colorado Springs. The subject: Night time

FIELD TRIP

Tom Moldenhauer volunteered to lead a trip to Kite Lake this August. Unfortunately, the seriously dry weather and fire danger may hamper this trip. Tom will research this and report back to the club.

Kit Lake is near the Windy Ridge Area. Many of the great bristlecone shots you have seen in competition come from here.

TRAVEL PROGRAMS

Travel programs are now on the third Tuesday of every other month. If you are interested in presenting your travelogue, call Andy at (719) 481-0426. The next program will be in September.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Longtime member, Kieth Grove, has been granted Honorary Member status by unanimous vote. Kieth has served the club for years as member as judge.

VOLUNTEER REQUEST

PPCC member, Juliet Stanley would like volunteers to take pictures at a nonprofit benefit at the Senior Center on Hancock, Saturday, August 17th, 6:00 PM . African food and dance will be featured.
