| July 3, 2004 The first day of The Shadow Realm and the only things up and running is the Metal Raiders booster set and the Promotional Cards. In other news today, KidsWB showed the latest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh, which had the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in its third appearance (the first one was during the Kaiba/Yami duel at Duelist Kingdom and the second was near the end of the Virtual World mini-arc before the Battle City arc started). It also marked the debut of Yugi Moto's latest monster, Dark Paladin the Ultimate Magical Swordsman. This bad boy has a base power of 2900 ATK and 2400 DEF. But its special ability, a 500 ATK & 500 DEF point bonus for all dragons on the field, is what makes it one of the most powerful monsters in Yugi's deck. Also making a debut are the magic cards Double Spell and Diffusion Wave Motion, both owned by Yugi. Double Spell allows its controller to duplicate the last two spells the opponent used, while Diffusion Wave Motion grants the monster using this card the ability to attack all of the opponent's monsters in one turn. July 8, 2004 The Downloads Page has been added. The only file on there is a zip file of the Japanese Structure Decks, which came from Edo's Yu-Gi-Oh Page. More files will be added with time permitting. Also, the Yu-Gi-Oh Library officially went up today. Go check it out by reading some of the fics there. Only stories up right now are The War of Destiny, Yugi's Love, and The Millennium Sword. July 10, 2004 A forum was set up for this group, for discussions and information exchanging. Go to The Shadow Realm Forum and post any information you have on anything Yu-Gi-Oh related. In other news today, the long-awaited duel between Kaiba and Joey kicked off today. Personally, Joey should've waited to attack until he had a card that could clear the field of all magic & trap cards (like the Giant Trunade card he used against Mako Tsunami) . . .but that's my own opinion. July 11, 2004 Well, a new page has been added today. Head over to the Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament to check out the Tournament Card list. All four seasons are up and running. Coming up next is the Starter Deck season One (Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, & Pegasus) and Starter Deck season Two (Kaiba & Yugi). Also, the futuristic fanfic Yugioh AF is now up. July 19, 2004 On Tuesday (the 13th), this site was approved to join the Yu-Gi-Oh Webring. If you have a Yu-Gi-Oh website, go to the main page of this site (by clicking on the Home button below) and head to the bottom of the site. Click on Join This Ring and answer all questions. Good news for those who are into the Yu-Gi-Oh CCG. DeckRevolution.com has released information on the 9-card pack being released for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh movie (hitting theaters August 13.) It includes 15 screen captures (one featuring Theinen the Great Sphinx & another with Anubis) and the cards being released in the booster pack. August 11, 2004 Yu-Gi-Oh The Movie webpage now has the information on the four cards that will be given out when you purchase a ticket to see the movie. Go to the page to check it out. September 25, 2004 Today, I've revamped the card database. Its now in a Microsoft Excel format and has rarity information upon it. The only one like this is Ancient Sanctuary, so go check it out. |
