He is currently sitting in his level two science class, staring at the ceiling. He was close to figuring out the ceiling tile pattern when-
�Tai! Do you see something you�d like to share with the rest of the class?�
�Well sir, the pattern seems to be like this: blue squares on the outside, then- I-I mean, no sir��Tai said, his face turning a bright shade of red. His science teacher picked on him all the time.
A couple of girls a few seats down began to giggle. Girls, what had once been so icky had now begun to look pretty good to Tai. He just then remembered something he heard about a while ago. Puberty or something�how odd for something like that to pop into his head at a time like this.
�Well then Tai, would you like to tell us the definition of homeostasis?� asked his teacher.
" Uh, well, um�.Hey look! It seems like Matt knows the answer!�
�Huh?� said Matt looking up from his paper.
�Oh no young man, you�re not weaseling your way out of this one.�
Matt returned to the scribble on the side of his worksheet.
Then, a sound, music to Tai�s ears�.BRRRRRRRRRIIIIINGG!
Tai grabbed his stuff and ran out of the room faster than ever. Study hall next, the one place where Tai could doze off without getting in trouble. The rest of the day went by pretty quickly.
He was glad when the day was finally over, and he could return to the comforting bliss of Television and video games. A four day weekend too, the only one of the school year. He was quietly walking home to his apartment when�.
�Tai! Tai! Wait up!� Tai turned around, it was Izzy. �Tai, everyone is coming to my place tonight, wanna come?�
�Sure, I haven�t seen the girls in a while, T.K. isn�t in our grade, and Joe goes to another school.� He looked at Izzy, he was still a short kid, maybe a little taller, but not much.
�Well, my mom doesn�t want girls sleeping over, but everyone else is coming.�
�Sounds goods to me.� Said Tai.
