1. People from most european countries do not need the OVIR registration now. However, it does not take long time to do and is recommended to be on the safe side.
2. Climbing permits are not needed since 2003.
3. Kyrgyz consulates issue Visa since 2003 without invitation needed from a local host. It is possible to obtain Visa at the airport in Bishkek at a cost of $70. Group members can get a group Visa in advance for $46 pp via e.g. ILI travel Ltd. They can also assist in applying for the only remaining required permit, the border permit. Price $10 pp for individuals and $7 pp for group members.
