MANAGER NAMED
With Billy and Ryan running all over the place in real life and online
playing their Tradewars game (Not to mention the fact they they forget how to use the op command a couple of times a week),
they have named their good friend that they rely on for support RobertG as the new channel manager. Robert has known Ryan for
over a year, and when he met Billy new that the three of them had to stay together. Billy and Ryan have so much trust in Roberts
love and loyalty it was an easy pic, they love him alot!
Just so there is no confusion, Roberts job includes setting up op levels for peeps that deserve it (or lowering if need be),
helping you to set up your mirc commands and txtplay and midi files. Robert has the power to kick for bad behavior, and put
a temporary ban on someone for bad behavior or inappropriate social behavior.
Robert also has the power to grant you to have a friend visit the channel when Ryan and Billy are not around. However Robert does reserve
the rite to say ask Ryan and Billy if he is in doubt or already knows the person and is not sure how the owners would react. Roberts first
duty of course is to protect the channel.
Along with this announcement Phil_ has been named Roberts assistant. His primary function is to protect the channel. Keep it clean.
Phil can help you set up things when Robert is busy as well. Phil also serves as a IRCOP on GYM server. Phil can not authorize visitors to the channel but he can make
recommendations to Robert or Billy or Ryan for you.
Ryan and Billy reserve the rite to refuse admission to Paradise Island, although will always allow vistors several visits before making a decision.
Dinosaur Hearts
The News media as usual is messing up history. At Raleigh North Carolina at the Raliegh North Carolina State Museum of Natural History paleontologist Dale Russell announced the discovery of a Dinosaur heart. The heart was turned to a fossil, but still a CAT scan showed what it was. The problem with the news media including online services is that they are headlining it as "Dinosaurs were warm blooded".
In an interview Russell told reporters that not all dinosaurs were warm blooded.

When in fact they have not proven what they found was a dinosaur but it could be a mammal of a later period. But Russell stood firm when he told reporters that all dinosaurs were not warm blooded. Again the news media tries to change the truth and make us believe untruths. |
The one found was not a giant as we see in the movies but an animal the size of a short pony.

ELIAN THE SAD

I dont like what the American government did.
They supposed to represent us. Do we like pointing
guns at unarmed people like they was bad?
They was just worried about a little boy, and our government
going to tell us who we gonna live with? Not the courts?
This doesn't make sense except in the mind of a few peeps
that don't understand what happened!
1000s of people leave Cuba to live here nice and safe
where they supposed to be free of Government taking things from them.
Live here - where it supposed to be nice.
They come into a place with gas masks and rifles and shotguns and tear
gas and destroy a home, force peeps on the floor make a little boy scared
cause he don't understand these scarey people any more than I do.
MY government wouldn't do that. Or would they?
We dont need little boys hating us we don't need Cuban nationals
trying to become Americans and be side by side us and loving and being friends
being scared of OUR government. Enough people hate us already.
With Elian, his momma died for a chance to live here in United States.
They were poor or they would have taken a cruise here, not a raft.
Elians father did NOT support him. His daddy didnt want him until
Castro say it. Then Castro clean him up, give him a suit, and tell him
to say speeches and this poor man never has no words for.
Then like fools our government does what it did. They couldn't wait
for the LEGAL courts to decide what was best.
Now I have to wonder about our history. Ruby Ridge where a 15 year old
boy is killed by Federal agents - the agents fired first.
I have to wonder about Waco when everyone can see a flame throwing tank enter the
estate and suddenly a fire burns everyone up.
I have to wonder about Wounded Knee when good American Indians tried
to get freedom from oppressive dictator and our Government goes in and
shoots people. And last I have to wonder how Leonard Pelter was convicted of murdering two
FBI agents when no one saw it and he was miles away with others when it happen.
There is no doubt America be the place to live. But there is no doubt that when kids are killing kids,
and government uses excessive force on unharmed people, that we need to change the government.
But especially cowards and government prosecutors sticking their nose into
the rights of freedom and choice from local government courts.

CIVIL RIGHTS IN VERMONT

I live in New Hampshire that is in the Northeast US. I was reading the other day about
this law that they are trying to pass in Vermont. I don't live in Vermont but it is
right next to me so I thought I could rite about it.

There is a bill in the Senate in Vermont (thats what they call a law before they make it
a law) that will give gay couples the right to marry and give them most of the same
priviledges that regular couples have like health care and insurance and stuff like
that.

I think that this is important because gay people are just like anyone else and it
shouldnt matter who you want to marry if you are in love with that person that is all
that matters. But there's lots of people who dont like this bill and are trying to stop
it.
Some of the people who trying to stop the bill made their own bills. One says that they
shoud be able to debate about their supreme court ruling. A while ago the Vermont state
supreme court said that it was unconstitutional to keep gays from being able to marry
and that is why they are talking about all these bills and stuff. But this bill got
defeated because they said that if they could do that then the supreme court wouldnt mean
anything.
Another bill says that gays shouldn't be allowed to marry but that two people who couldnt
marry could apply for rights one at a time without getting married. The person who made
this bill (Peg Flory) said that she wanted to make marraige about "defining the
responsibilities of parents to their children." She said that she wanted to take sexual
activity out of consideration. But her bill was defeated to because the point is not
about sex. What they are trying to do is to say that they can make discrimanation
against anyone who they don't like just because they don't like them. Two people who are
in love is not about sex but about caring about each other and wanting to be together and
being faithful to each other and not just about sex.
The bill passed (called H847) because people knew how important it was and there was lots
of support like candlelight services and stuff outside the senate. It was Francis Brooks
speech that moved everyone to take action about this bill. Part of what he said is this:
"Please consider the human beings you have decided to place a stigma on, Please do what
has made me proud to say I am a member here."
Another member said this, "I�m here to tell you that gay and lesbian people and gay and
lesbian couples deserve not only rights, they deserve to be celebrated," said Bill
Lippert. "Our lives, in the midst of historic prejudice and historic discrimination, are
to my view, in some ways, miracles."
"We�re not a threat to your communities," Lippert said. "We are an asset. We deserve to
be welcomed, because we are your neighbors; we are your friends; indeed, we are your
family."
The bill passed and everyone cheered. Except the people who didnt want it to pass they
are still trying to atatch amendments and stuff to it. One amendment said that people
who have HIV could not marry people who don't have HIV. That got put down because of
discrimination.
I think that this is important and that this bill should become a law. It isn't right to
keep two people who love each other from being able to marry and have the same rights as
anyone else. I think that this is not about what sex you are or even about being gay but
about the rights of anyone who loves someone else. If people say that gay people can't
marry it's only because they don't like gay people and don't want them to have the same
rights as them because that would mean that they are the same as anyone else. Martin
Luther King said, "Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of God's
children." I think that that is right. He was talking about racial prejudice, but it
means the same thing for all civil rights. Everyone should be equal and just because you
don't like someone doesn't mean that they are less important than you.

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that the "accident" evolution had
created.
"What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!" he said to himself.
As he was walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes behind. As he turned
to look, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charge towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was
closing in on him. He tried to run even faster, so scared that tears were coming to his eyes.
He looked over his shoulder again and the bear was even closer. His heart was pumping
frantically as he tried to run even faster, but he tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled
over to pick himself up and saw the bear right on top of him raising his paw to kill him.
At that instant he cried out, "Oh my God!"
Just then, time stopped. The bear froze, the forest was silent, the river even stopped
moving. A bright light shone upon the man, and a voice came out of the sky saying, "You deny
my existence all of these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit my creation to a
cosmic accident and now why do you accept me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to
count you as a believer?"
The atheist, ever so proud, looked into the light and said, "It would be rather hypocritical
to ask to be a Christian after all these years, but could you make the bear a Christian?"
"Very well," said the voice. As the light went out, the river ran, the sounds of the forest
continued and the bear put his paw down.
The bear then brought both paws together, bowed his head and said, "Lord I thank you for this
food which I am about to receive."

Spring Breaks are over and for most the were cold... Some like Billy had
fun weather while most suffered :) RobertG had a cold/flu for a whole week!
CoolJack had A stroke and we are told he will be ok but not like we are used to maybe.
