These techniques are used by Ranma, Genma,
and/or Kumon Ryuu.

Maken doukoku-ha "demon dog wailing defeat"
A Saotome school secret technique that Genma teaches Ranma to deal with the shishi houkoudan. First, back out of "ki" projection range. The hiryuu shoutenha technique proves ineffective against Herb, who manipulates his "ki" to subvert it into a flying dragon descent "ki" blast. Ranma christens this technique the hiryuu kourindan.
Appearance: Volume 24 part 11.
Yamasen-ken "old as the hills punch"
A Saotome school technique used by Kumon Ryuu. He yells "Don't move" and then strikes while the opponent is surprised. Ryuu is searching for the Umisen-ken, with which the Yamasen-kan is paired.
The basic principle of the yamasen-kan and umisen-kan techniques is that the body is like a house. The head is the attic, the chest is the entranceway, the arms are the gates, the back is the back door, and the legs are the stilts.
Now behind Ryuu's back, Ranma drives his feet into the back of Ryuu's legs and pulls downward on the cloth around Ryuu's face and neck. Appearance: Volume 28 part 8.
Goshin dai-ryuusei-fu "self-protection big falling star cloth"
Ranma whirls a big wrapping cloth, and disappears from sight. Appearance: Volume 28 part 8.
Ranma gets a large bundle of earth in his big wrapping cloth, and leaps over Ryuu with it,
concentrating the vacuum of his kijin raishuudan beneath the bundle so that the earth surges up
and buries Ryuu. Appearance: Volume 28 part 9.
